NOTICE OF VACANCY
 
GROUNDSKEEPER (full-time)
 
 
The Lake George Central School District is seeking to fill the position of Groundskeeper. This position is a full-time, 12-month position.
 
SALARY: $40,000 per the Lake George Staff Association Contract
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  Knowledge of groundskeeping and landscaping practices. Ability to operate a variety of groundskeeper power equipment. Ability to problem-solve, communicate, and the ability to work cooperatively with others. Physical ability to perform strenuous outdoor work for extended periods. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Graduation from high school or possession of a high school diploma and one (1) year of experience in park or grounds maintenance activities.
 
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:  Possession and maintenance of an appropriate New York State DMV Operator’s license and acceptable driving record.
