Assistant Naturalist

TEMPORARY- SUMMER                                                                                                              SALARY: $19.11/hr.
Warren County is seeking an Assistant Naturalist to work with the Naturalists on programming processes as well as grounds/trail maintenance at the Up Yonda Environmental Education Center. 
 
This is a great opportunity to spend the summer assisting with environmental program preparation/presentation, demonstrations on ecology, natural resources and environmental conservation as well as trail maintenance.   

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  
    A)  Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma; and
    B)  Twenty-four (24) credit hours of coursework from a regionally-accredited or New York State registered                      college or university, or
    C)  One year of full-time paid experience (or its part-time or volunteer equivalent) in a position involving                          conservation, environmental education or other natural science work.
