Deputy Director of Public Health-Patient Services

Warren County Health Services is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Deputy Director of Public Health/Patient Services.  The employee in this position assists in the business management, agency operations and coordination of technical services provided by Warren County Health Services as well as oversight of agency associated contract services. The incumbent acts on behalf of the Director of Public Health/Patient Services (“Director”) in his/her absence. Supervision is exercised over administrative, professional, and support staff. The work is performed under general direction with wide latitude allowed for the exercise of independent judgment. Does related work as required.
 
SALARY: $86,669 (2026 Base Salary)
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
        A) Master’s degree in public health, nursing or a closely related field and two (2) years of public health                          administration experience, one (1) year of which shall have been in a supervisory position;
        B) Bachelor’s degree in public health, nursing or a closely related field and four (4) years of public health                      administration experience; two (2) years of which shall have been in a supervisory position. 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: At the time of appointment and throughout the term of employment, compliance with Section 763.13 of the New York State Public Health Law, including but not limited to, credentialing review, vaccine requirements and masking requirements.
