Please contact the VBN Liaison for more information.***\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us for our ARCC Veterans Business Network Meeting with guest speaker Amy Amoroso of the Veteran Business Opportunity Center. The following topics will be the focus of this segment:\n\n\n\nVBOC-Veterans Business Outreach Center\n\n	Assisting veterans\, military spouses and service members looking to start and or expand business\n	B2B and B2BR Program\n	Government Contracting and other benefits to start a veteran small business\n\n\nVeterans in attendance will have a chance to win a goody bag filled with GRUNT STYLE GEAR! \n\n\nAfter our educational speaking segment\, there will be an opportunity to network in the relaxed atmosphere of The Queensbury Hotel with our speakers\, area Veteran business owners and Veteran employees of ARCC member businesses. \n\n\n\nMeet our Speaker:\n\n\n\n\n\nAmy Amoroso- Director VBOC Region II NY/NJ/PR/USVI - Amy serves as Program Director for the Partnership's Veterans Business Outreach Center covering the territories of NY/NJ/Puerto Rico/US Virgin Islands. She is the initial point of contact for VBOC program clients and is responsible for facilitating and delivering Boots to Business\, B2B: Reboot training programs\, conducts client counseling services\, case management\, performance reporting\, compliance\, serves as POC for stakeholder and collaborative partners\, and as moderator for network and outreach events. Amy is a subject matter expert in business plan development\, financial analysis\, starting/growing and or selling a business\, business lending\, marketing\, SDVOSB certifications\, Boots to Business instruction\, and networking.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Veterans Business Network:\n\nThe purpose of the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce's Veterans Business Network is to promote and to serve the affinity group of Veteran and military service personnel\,  veteran and military member sole proprietorships\, and veteran and military service professional members of the ARCC and to encourage increased business and collaboration among its ranks.\n\n \n\nBy promoting the ARCC's four pillars of advocacy\, education\, connection and collaboration\, we will have the ability to attract more veterans and military professionals to the ARCC with an intent to develop and track metrics that can be used by the ARCC to promote its support for veterans military service members in business\, to support in collaboration the educational and mental health outreach and mission of other local veteran business communities\, specifically\, neighboring chambers\, and to develop mentoring\, educational and entrepreneurial opportunities for veterans and military service members while fostering growth opportunities with a focus on performance (revenue growth\, employee growth\, etc.) of service member-owned enterprises\, military-owned sole proprietorships\, and post-military professionals in the ARCC service area.\n\n\n\nInterested in joining the VBN but are not an ARCC Member yet?\n\nYou're welcome to join us\, meet some current members and learn how the ARCC works for businesses and Veterans in our region!
