SUMMARY:Nonprofit Symposium: The Nonprofit Circle of Success
DESCRIPTION:The Adirondack Nonprofit Business Council (ANBC) presents their symposium event: The Nonprofit Circle of Success.\n\n\n\nThe session will cover six key prongs of the circle of success including:\n\nMission\, Culture\, Program\, Strategy\, Fundraising\, and Stewardship.\n\n\n\nLike pie pieces in the total pie\, each prong is inter-connected and the total health & success of a nonprofit organization relies on care and attention to these pieces. The session will provide ANBC Symposium attendees with a sense of how the world of purpose-driven organizations has evolved over the last 20 years\, the current state of the nonprofit industry\, and what some of the pitfalls are that separate organizations from top performance in each of those six defined areas as well as "bold plays" that organizations can think about deploying to set them apart in a more competitive nonprofit landscape\, providing for a healthier culture\, stronger mission\, and greater ability to raise and sustain resources.\n\n\n\nOur Presenter\n\n\n\nRay Witkowski\, Managing Director\n\nChanging Our World\, Inc.\n\n \n\nRay is a managing director at Changing Our World. He is responsible for educational client development\, with a special focus on institutional strategic planning\, audience engagement\, internal and external communications\, fundraising opportunities\, and other tailored solutions for our secondary and higher education clients. \n\n \n\nRay brings 30 years of senior-level experience dedicated to education and nonprofit brand strategy and communications\, having worked personally with over 125 private and public colleges and universities nationwide\, including Albany Law School\, Columbia University\, Plattsburgh State University\, Siena College\, SUNY Adirondack\, and University of Pennsylvania\, among others. He has also worked with multiple nonprofit clients including The Catholic Foundation (Columbus\, OH)\, the Knights of Columbus\, and the National Foundation of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.\n\n \n\nPrior to joining Changing Our World\, Ray served as Vice President for Client Services at Stamats Communications\, a higher education marketing agency\, where he focused on senior business-development and consulting.
