SUMMARY:Leveraging the Power of Generational Diversity for a Competitive Advantage in the Workplace
DESCRIPTION:Join the ARCC for a panel discussion on leveraging the power of generational diversity for a competitive advantage in the workplace.\n\n\n\nIn contemporary workplaces\, human resources and business leaders are encountering a wider range of generational demographics in their workforce as people work longer into their sunset years often as a second or third act after their formal retirement. This dynamic presents a unique challenge of devising strategies to encourage an environment that promotes high engagement\, loyalty\, and productivity\, among various generational groups.\n\n\n\nFor years\, organizations have recognized the compelling business case for cultivating a multi-generational workforce. A multi-generational workforce fosters innovative thinking and enables employers to access a broader spectrum of potential talent. However\, more than half of employers have indicated that they do not incorporate age as a factor in their recruitment efforts.\n\n \n\nThose who fail to leverage the benefits of a multi-generational workforce find themselves at a disadvantage regarding innovation\, institutional knowledge\, employee engagement\, and workforce stability. Given the permanence of generational diversity within the workforce\, it is prudent for organizations to cultivate an age-inclusive culture.\n\n\n\nThis panel discussion is presented by the ARCC Women's Business Council (WBC) and open to ALL to attend. Please share with your colleagues!\n\n \n\nThis year's panel includes:\n\n \n\n	\n \n \n\n Elizabeth Miller\n\n President & CEO\n\n Miller Industrial\n\n Manufacturing\n\n \n\n \n\n \n \n\n Brian Rollo\n\n Founder\n\n Brian Rollo\n\n Consulting Group\n\n \n\n \n\n \n \n\n Jennifer Massey\n\n Founder & CEO\n\n Integra HR\, LLC\n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n Cam Cardinale\n\n Director of Community Relations\n\n Southern Adirondack Independent Living (SAIL)\n\n \n \n\n Tracey Wardwell\n\n Assistant VP/Branch Manager\n\n Capital Bank\n\n Panel Moderator\n \n\n Tricia Rogers\n\n President & CEO\n\n Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce\n\n Panel Moderator\n \n	\n\n\n\n\n\nMore about our panelists:\n\n\n\nElizabeth Miller\, President & CEO\, Miller Industrial Manufacturing\n\nHolding a Master of Science in Education from The College of St. Rose in the field of Communication Disorders\, Elizabeth dedicated 30 years to serving as a Speech and Language Therapist in the Saratoga Springs City Schools.
