Matt uses his broad background in both banking and insurance to provide a tailored insurance solution for each Amsure client. Matt received his Master of Business Administration from Union College and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Skidmore College. In addition\, he has earned the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.\n\n\n\n\n\nMark Shaw\, President of StoredTech. Energy\, enthusiasm\, curiosity. Mark Shaw's compelling approach to business and life drives StoredTech's growth and development. His forward thinking leadership moves at the speed of technology and keeps StoredTech on the front lines of the industry as the company expands its reach to bring best-in-class solutions to market. \n\n\n\nChris Meyer of Counsel Privacy\, Cybersecurity and Information Management\; Business\, Corporate and Commercial\; Litigation\, Arbitration and Mediation for Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP. Chris leads Whiteman Osterman & Hanna's Privacy\, Cybersecurity and Information Management Practice.  He provides advice to clients regarding the full information lifecycle\, from creation of data\, to use\, storage and disposal.  He represents clients in a wide range of industries where privacy\, cybersecurity and information management are critical concerns\, including health care\, education\, finance\, mobile applications\, managed services\, and information technology services.  He provides advice on U.S. and international privacy and data protection laws\, including the European General Data Protection Regulation.  His experience includes policy development\, contract negotiations\, risk assessments\, cyber incident response\, cyber insurance claims\, cyber incident litigation\, and other related matters.  Chris also is Adjunct Professor of Law at Albany Law School and teaches a course in Global Privacy Law.\n\n\n\nEvent Facilitator:\n\nKaren Woodard has been an associate professor of IT Computer Networking since 2001 and recently added Cybersecurity to the list.  She has been a Cisco Networking Academy (NetAcad) Global Instructor Trainer since 2012 when the program debuted.  October 2107\, Karen was selected to announce the 20th Anniversary of Cisco NetAcad on Cisco Beat\, a global broadcast with top Cisco Systems executives.  In 2017\, Karen was part of a limited release beta team to evaluate the new NetAcad CCNA CyberOps curriculum\; and through her endeavors\, SUNY Adirondack has the honor of being one of the first Cisco Networking Academies in the world to offer this course to students. \n\n \n\nKaren fosters student success through industry connections\, grant writing\, and mentoring and leading student NetAcad IT Dream Teams for the NBA All Star Games 2015 and 2017\, and Cisco Live 2012 and 2013. With over 25 years in IT\, telecom support\, and management experience\, and her ability to bridge student talent and IT industry needs contribute to real world experience and job prospects for students.
