DESCRIPTION:The ARCC Women's Business Council (WBC) invites you to their February 2022 meeting! Please join us for a panel discussion on Diversity & Growth.\n\n\n\nThis month's special guest speakers:\n\n\n\n\n\nBethanie Lawrence -  Executive Director\,  World Awareness Children's Museum \n\nBethanie has a background in education and worked in many different roles at the museum before becoming the Executive Director in November 2019. She is a member of the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce\, a Trustee of the Hudson Falls Free Library\, and a member of the Arts District of Glens Falls. She lives in Hudson Falls with her husband Patrick and their two dogs\, Hank and Whiskey. Bethanie is an avid reader and has a goal of reading 30 books in 2022.  \n\n\n\n\n\nMichael Gerarde - Operations\, KEENA - Michael has been a member of the KEENA team since 2014 after graduating from Syracuse University with a degree in Public Health. Born and raised in the Glens Falls area\, Michael takes pride in working with many local business owners to ensure that they are providing the best work experience for their employee's. Michael is an active member of the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce and currently serves on the chamber Ambassador team.\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nRobin Russom - Retail Market Manager for the Upstate New York Region of TD Bank\, America's Most Convenient Bank - Robin is committed to providing Legendary Customer Experiences while growing business and cultivating strong teams by focusing on building strong relationships and personal/career development. She has been in banking for over 30 years and has been part of the TD Bank family for 25.  She has held positions in Marketing\, Commercial Banking\, Sales Strategy\, Charitable Giving\, Learning and Development as well as Retail.\n\n\n\n\n\nKate O'Sick - Dean for Student Affairs at SUNY Adirondack and co-chair of the campus Diversity Committee -  Kate has been at SUNY Adirondack since 2009 and has been the Dean for Student Affairs since 2019.  In her capacity as Dean\, she oversees the areas of Residence Life\, Student Engagement & Diversity Initiatives\, Counseling and the Community Hub\, the First Year Experience Program (Adk Compass)\, the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) and TRIO Programs.  She is also responsible for Student Conduct\, Commencement Planning and Campus COVID testing and response.  She earned her Bachelor's degree from Cornell University and her Master's degree from Central Connecticut State University.  She grew up in Glens Falls\, and returned to Glens Falls in 2009 with her husband to raise their three children.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFollowing the presentation\, and Q&A there will be an opportunity for networking.
