SUMMARY:ANBC Brown Bag Lunch Chat
DESCRIPTION:The next Adirondack Nonprofit Business Council (ANBC) Brown Bag Lunch Chat is on Thursday\, July 25th at the Tri-County United Way.\n\n\n\nThis month's topic will focus on the Remote Area Medical (RAM) clinic\, which is in its planning stages. (RAM) clinic is projected for 2021 and will offer medical care\, dental services (cleaning\, fillings\, extractions)\, and vision care (eye exams\, eyeglasses with lenses ground to prescription). The clinic is completely free and is designed for both the uninsured and under insured. All medical personnel (doctors\, nurses\, paramedics\, etc.) volunteer their time. Insurance is not required and there is no geographic limitation for who can come to the clinic. Patients are seen on a first come\, first served basis. Patients will be given referrals for follow-up care where necessary. This is currently in the planning stages and our collaborative efforts will be needed to help get this going. This is potentially a wonderful service that we can offer our clients we serve. Don Franks will be presenting.\n\n\n\nPlease RSVP to Deb Rowell\, VP/COO\n\n(518) 793-4700 ext. 12111\n\ndrowell@cwinc.org
